Hiking in Velfjord, Norway
Velfjord has many unpopulated areas with untouched nature, and you do not have to go far to find it. Large areas with no signs of civilization. The inland has large forest- and mountain areas with hundreds of lakes.
Velfjord has a unique terrain both for families and for the vigorous hiker. Lomsdal / Visten National Park is just one of many alternatives. For hikers we particularly recommend the month of September with the clear air and sparkling autumn colors.
